This is a fifth generation phone from Yealink which is the largest manufacturer of IP phones in the world. They have taken their experience from those years and crafted this very popular phone. Yealink handsets tend to be larger and more weighty than the brands of ther phones, giving them a physical confidence. The button layout of the phone has been refined to be simple and easy to use. The eight buttons on either side of the screen are programmable and are used for multi line, speed dial, paging and more.
One of the favorite features of this phone is its built in Bluetooth. Use the same comfortable headset you use with your smart phone for convience and to keep your hands free while fielding calls. There are additional commerical and wired headset options.
We recommend all IP phones use a wired PoE network connection for its best performance and stability. That is not always possible and in some situations, there is simply no wired network jack to plug into. Yealink has included a WiFi connection to make placement much easier. Even using WiFi, this phone is not wireless. A wired power plug is still required to power the phone.
